About the Musicians
Live Irish traditional music by three internationally recognized musicians coming from Ireland for one month of concerts in Virginia, Maryland and New York: Irish music and fiddle legend, Brendan Mulvihill, Ireland’s 2021 TG4 television broadcast Musician of the Year, banjo and mandolin player, Angelina Carberry, and internationally regarded accordion player, Dan Brouder.
Brendan, Angelina and Dan now live in Ireland but each have traveled the world playing and teaching Irish traditional music. Connecting with each other just as the world began to open after the pandemic, they are sharing music together as Brendan prepares to release a large music collection prepared by his father, legendary Irish music teacher from New York, the late Martin Mulvihill.
Brendan, Angelina and Dan will lead Irish traditional sessions at the farm market and open
house. Intermediate and advanced musicians familiar with and respecting session etiquette will
be welcomed to join in the sessions during posted open session times. For more on them and the
concerts, www.irishscroll.com.

Three 1 Month Free Irish Dance Classes!
(Beginner classes Donated by Armstrong Irish Dance Academy)About this prize:
Sarah Armstrong Rhodes, TCRG is the instructor at Armstrong Irish Dance Academy. She discovered Irish dance at a Celtic Festival she went to when she was twelve and started assisting her dance teacher in classes at age 15. Sarah studied at the Maple School of Irish Dance in Falls Church and eventually transferred to the Teelin School of Irish Dance in Columbia, MD, under the instruction of Maureen Berry, TCRG. Sarah has competed at the local and regional level.
In 2014, Sarah started studying to take her TCRG examination - a process in becoming a certified teacher with the CLRG (the Irish dance commission) - and sat her exam in September 2015. In December, she received her results and her dream of becoming a TCRG came true - she had passed the exam. She is fully vetted according to CLRG’s child protection policy.
In April 2016, with a new baby 3 months old, Sarah pursued her dream and opened her own dance school, bringing a certified Irish dance school to Winchester.
Sarah's goal is to help mold students into dancers who have humility, dedication, tenacity, and a true passion for this unique dance form in hope to one day present them for competition. She truly believes that dance helps better each child into confident, graceful adults. She loves bringing Irish dance to the lives of children and adults of all levels!
